  2. Bought to replace a copy of this CD which I lost around 10 years ago. This is a truly great 60s Shadows LP. The original vocals - Don't it Make You Feel Good and That's the Way it Goes (the latter recorded by Frank Ifield three years earlier) - show that The Shads were on a par with any group from Liverpool and the instrumentals - from the slow, moving arrangement of Tonight (from 'West Side /5(9).

The Shadows' second album is one of the group's better efforts, though not a very hard-rocking agakelvmarijurusandromadar.xyzinfo this time, the Shadows were moving in a direction similar to that of Cliff Richard, aiming for a wider, more mature audience that was attuned to more than rock & agakelvmarijurusandromadar.xyzinfo of what's here, including "Perfidia," "Spring Is Nearly Here," and "Some Are Lonely," could pass for adult pop music more.

The British public in anticipated an all instrumental debut album but the Shadows and Paramor wanted to produce an album showcasing their numerous diverse talents instead, hence the inclusion of two specialist instrumental "solos", Nivram (a bass feature) and See You In My Drums (an obviously drum-heavy track).
